IMPORTANT: Collection of Exam Certificates
Uncollected Certificates– Please collect from NC Pontefract Reception
We also are still holding certificates from 2015-2016, 2016 – 2017, 2017-2018 and 2018-2019.
We have many uncollected Certificates going back to the academic year 2015-16 (Summer 2016 leavers). Due to lack of storage space, these certificates will be confidentially destroyed at the end of October 2020. We are only obliged to hold certificates for 12 months, therefore it is your responsibility to collect them. You will require them for job interviews. Once collected, certificates should be kept safe as they cost approximately £45 each to replace and you must apply directly to each exam board for copies.
Ideally, please collect them in person between 8.30 – 4.00pm Monday – Friday from the main reception. Please bring some photo I.D with you. If you are unable to collect them yourself, you are able to nominate someone else to collect them on your behalf but you must provide them with a note of authorisation to bring with them, naming them and signed by yourself. They also need to bring their own photo I.D with them. Certificates belong to the student and therefore, they cannot be given to a third party without written authorisation from the student. Alternatively you can email exams@nclt.ac.uk stating your name, student reference number, subjects studied, year of leaving and the name of the authorised person collecting on your behalf. We do NOT usually post certificates but please contact us if there is nobody to collect on your behalf.
Certificates for Summer 2020 leavers
Your certificates for the academic year 2019-20 will be available for collection from the main reception in JANUARY 2021. Please bring photo ID with you.
